Welcome to Foot Forward Podiatry. These Terms and Conditions explain how you may use our website and outline the terms under which we provide podiatry services. By using our site or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

  • Our practitioner is registered with the HCPC and deliver care in accordance with its guidelines. Treatment is limited to the podiatric services outlined on our website and booking platform.

2. Website Use

  • The content on our website is for general information only. It is not a substitute for personal medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis or treatment.
  • You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose or to disrupt its operation.

3. Booking Appointments

  • Appointments can be booked online or in person after treatment
  • You are responsible for providing accurate personal and medical information so we can deliver safe, effective care.
  • We take a deposit to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment at the time of your appointment.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. However, missed or late-cancelled appointments have a significant impact on our ability to provide care to other patients.
  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to do so, or non-attendance (“no-show”), will result in a charge of 100% of the appointment fee. Deposits are forfeited unless rescheduled within this notice period.
  • To cancel a booking, please contact us or use the link in your confirmation email.

5. Payments

  • Payment is due at the end of treatment unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept cash and card payments
  • Prices for treatments are listed on our website and may change at any time.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds are not normally given for completed treatments, except where required by law.
  • Products may be refunded in line with consumer rights legislation.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We take all reasonable steps to ensure accurate information and safe practice.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any rights you have under UK consumer law.
  • We make no guarantee of specific treatment outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in this clause excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
  • You retain your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Our contractual terms are fair, transparent, and do not undermine those statutory protections.

8. Your Responsibilities as a Patient

  • Follow all advice and aftercare instructions provided by your podiatrist.
  • Inform us of any changes in your health, medications, or allergies before each appointment.

9. Data Protection

  • We comply with GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018. Personal and medical data are stored securely for a minimum of 8 years and used only for treatment, reminders, and administrative purposes. You may request access or corrections at any time, requests will be processed within 30 days.

10. Consent

  • By booking, you consent to the provision of treatment, associated assessments, and (if applicable) sharing relevant information with your GP or other healthcare professionals. Consent for clinical photography or marketing use is separate and will be expressly sought.

11. Complaints

  • We aim to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly. Please contact us in the first instance by email. Any complaints must be made in writing within 3 days of your visit to info@thefootforward.co.uk

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the “Version date”.
